Avalanche Loses to McFarland
Monroe’s lone goal against McFarland was scored by Cade Martin in the third period.
“We played well the first half of the first period, but we were skating out of position too much and we got tired too quickly. It hurt missing Tyler Johnson and Evan Byrnes, and it showed. We started playing much better the second and third periods. Now we have a long weekend for everyone to rest up and heal,” commented Coach Josh Smith.
The final score was McFarland 9, Monroe 1.
The Avalanche Co-op team will play against the Oregon Panthers at SLICE on February 5th and head to the Wilson Park Recreation Center in Milwaukee to face the Greendale Ice Force on February 6th.
