The Sugar River Wrestlers headed to Oshkosh to participate in the 2015 Lourdes Academy OTW Classic on December 29-30.

Justin Knoebl (113 lbs) won in the first round over Dylan Hughes, Wautoma/Wild Rose. He lost in the second round to Joey Graham, Wilmot Union. Round three was won due to forfeit. In round four, Knoebl won over Jordan Mielke, Sheboygan Falls. Knoebl lost round five to Brandon Lucht, Antigo. Knoebl scored 10 team points and is 4-6.

Max Gerner (120 lbs) won his first round over Isaiah Malone, Kenosha Indian Trail. Gerner lost in round two to Sam Boerner, Cedarburg. In round three, Gerner won over Jacob Simonis, Amherst. Gerner lost round four to Tanner Johnson, Waupaca. Gerner scored 4 team points and is 12-8.

John Chenoweth (126 lbs) won his first round due to forfeit. He won round two over Lucas Stenzel, Sturgeon Bay. In round three Chenoweth lost to Justin Ratkovec, Waterford. Chenoweth won round four over Adam Ratliff, Perry. He lost round five to Gavin Czerwonka, Wittenberg-Birnamwood. Chenoweth scored 8 team points and is 15-6.

Jack Diederich (138 lbs) lost his first round to Colin Saegert, Lomira. His second round was won due to forfeit. Diederich lost round three to Liam Ostrand-Kolstad, Sturgeon Bay. Diederich scored 3 team points and is 3-9.

Hayden Latsch (145 lbs) lost his first round to Dakota Cooper, Omro, and lost his second round to Jason Reince, Watertown. Latsch is 5-11.

Tyler Varney (152 lbs) lost his first round to Mitchell Umentum, Gillett Suring, and had a bye for the second round. Varney fell to Brady Fry, Reedsburg Area, in round three. Varney is 8-11.

Calvin Binger (170 lbs) won his first round due to forfeit. He lost round two to Dustin Hobbs, Laconia. Binger won rounds three and four due to forfeit. He lost round five to Nacie Calarco, Wabeno-Laona. Binger scored 10 team points and is 7-11.

Tanner Jelle (182 lbs) lost in round one to Cam Lepkowski, Peshtigo. He received a bye in round two. Jelle lost to Robert Castel, Kenosha Indian Trail, in round three. Jelle is 2-9.

Danny Enloe (220 lbs) lost in round one to Franky Zavala, Menasha. In round two he received a bye, and lost in round three to Noah Belschner, Cedarburg. Enloe is 6-6.

Jonah Thompson (285 lbs) lost in round one to Andrew Kalfas, Oshkosh. He received a bye for round two. Thompson lost to Bennett Gunderson, Bonduel, in round three. Thompson is 7-7.

The team heads to Waterloo on January 7th, and on January 9th Varsity will compete at the Sauk Prairie Invitational while the JV competes at the Middleton Invitational.
