The Belleville girls basketball team traveled to Pecatonica on Monday, December 8th. Head Coach Kerry Steinagel explains, “For the first six minutes of the game it was really tight - in fact, Pecatonica was ahead 4-2 as our offense was not flowing very well.”

By halftime, Belleville was ahead, 28-5.

“One of the key points to our game was our defense. We switched it up and this motivated the girls to play harder. Pecatonica could not match this defensive intensity. We then went on a 25-1 run to end the first half, with 12 of those points coming on transition points,” said Steinag...
