Sugar River Raiders to Play Mt. Horeb in First Round of Sectionals

In regionals, SRR defeated Cambridge-Deerfield in their first matchup and Monroe in the championship. They will play against Mt. Horeb in the first round of sectionals on Thursday, October 29.
On Thursday, October 22, the Varsity Raider soccer team traveled to Reddan Park to host Cambridge-Deerfield for a 2nd round regional matchup. It was an exciting, fast-paced game as it was held on the Goodman Pitch Turf field.
To start it off for the Raiders, Kevin Zimmerman got an awesome assist from Andrew Delorme for a goal at 20:22. And again Zimmerman found the net for his 2nd goal of the night at 46:54. Play continued into the 2nd half, with the final Raider goal by Lukas Diaz at 62:40 off a nice "rebound" shot! Final score: SR 3, Cambridge-Deerfield 0, for the Raiders 6th shu...
