In the first round of regionals, the Knights were victorious over Parkview, 3-0; they didn't fare as well in the second round.
"Unfortunately, we couldn't pull out the win against Cuba City tonight. I asked the girls to compete, and compete they did. They covered the floor well on defense, hit the ball aggressively, and placed the ball in holes on the other side of the net," said Head Coach Kelsey Schmit. "I am so proud of their performance tonight and all season. This group of girls is unique. They love the game, love playing together, and take care of one another. I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with these young ladies."
Leading the way for the Glarner Knights was Maddie Macht with 13 kills and 15 digs. Devon Boll had seven kills while Alex Nealis totaled one ace and 25 assists.
Kati Way and Ether Noriega earned one ace each. Vanessa Narveson tallied 18 digs.
The girls finish the season 12-16.
