NG-M Football to Play Spencer/Columbus Catholic in Playoffs

 


The Waterloo Pirates defeated the New Glarus-Monticello Knights in their last game of the regular season, 21-0.

"It was a tough one against Waterloo. We started off slow but kept it a scoreless game until about six seconds left in the half when Waterloo scored on a 14-yard pass," stated Head Coach Desie Breadon. "We didn't come out and play with the same intensity as we did against Cambridge, and Waterloo did. We will use it as a learning experience and get ready for Spencer/Columbus Catholic this week."

NG-M had 37 carries for 198 yards and two catches for five yards.
