Friday night, did you cover your tomatoes?  Weather forecasters claim temps might go into the 20s.  Just a few extra degrees and those green leaves turn brown.  But, after midnight, clouds develop and keep us at 30 degrees.  Then the sun comes out, the wind stays down and the temperature rises.  By 10:00 a.m., what was going to be an ice-cold day ripens into perfect running weather.
