On the road, Belleville football faced a tough opponent in Cambridge, losing 37-8.
Dan Meier was three for 21 with 66 passing yards and one interception. Cole Martin had 13 carries for 173 rushing yards, and Jesse McNamar had two catches for 52 receiving yards.
“We were down two starting linemen early in the game. That made it difficult to move the ball on offense. Defensively, we were able to stop their toss plays and deep passes. We just gave up too many big runs inside the second half,” explained Head Coach Justin Blackburn.
