On Saturday, Sept. 5, the Belleville cross country team competed in the Darlington Invitational.

The girls placed eighth out of 11 teams while the boys took eighth out of 13.

Junior Noelle Maire won the meet with a time of 19:41. She was followed by junior Rachel Uebelacker in 48th at 25:44. Junior Britney Markhardt was third for Belleville at 26:10 while teammate freshman Mili Julian had a time of 26:36. Junior Clarice Loeffelholz was just behind her at 26:45, and junior Brittany Kiefer finished just after her at 26:49.
