Belleville hosted the Belleville invitational on Saturday, Aug. 29, throughout the entire day.

In the morning, the Wildcats faced off against Princeton first, losing 20-25 and 21-25.

In their second matchup, they lost to Oregon, 19-25 and 17-25.

Finally in their third matchup in the morning, Belleville lost to Evansville, 12-25 and 15-25.

“While the Belleville varsity team did not win any sets in the morning pool play, they were able to come back and defeat both Poynette and Princeton in their afternoon matches,” stated Head Coach Jill Haag.
