Boys Place Second Narrowly Missing First Place, Girls Take Third

In a recent track meet, Ryan Hayes handed off the baton to Colton Boley.

On Friday, May 15, the Sugar River Track and Field team hosted the Sugar River Invitational. The Sugar River boys team placed second with 122 points, just behind Lodi with 123.5 points. The girls team finished in third place with 99.5 points behind Columbus in second and Benton-Scales Mound-Shullsburg in first.

Senior Ryan Hayes took third place in the 100-meter dash at 11.69, and right behind him was junior Nick Smith in fourth place with a time of 11.74.
