NG Softball Falls to Lodi, Marshall

On the road on Friday, May 8, the New Glarus softball team was defeated by Lodi, 6-0.
Offensively, Ashley Judd was one for two; Noelle Austin was one for three; Kelly Fredrickson was one for three with a double; and Paige Bump was one for three.
Riley Parker pitched all six innings for the Knights, giving up nine runs and six earned runs while walking six and striking out two.
A day earlier on Thursday, New Glarus was dominated by Marshall, 25-0.
The Knights only had two hits: Lydia Sprecher was one for two, and Maya Kramer was one for two as well.
Jessica Van Dusen started on the mound for the Knights going three innings; she gave up nine hits and 19 runs – 11 were earned – while walking 12 and striking out two.
Pitching the next two innings was Kramer who gave up three hits and six runs – four were earned. She walked three, struck out zero, and gave up a homerun.
