Golf Team Places Seventh at Home Invite

The New Glarus varsity golf team participated in an 18-hole invitational at Evansville Golf Course on Friday, April 24.
Michael Raskovic led the team with a 92 while Max Cruse carded a 97. Cade Beutler shot a 105, Will Oemichen shot 107, and Cole Runde carded a 117.
The team earned a score of 401, getting ninth place out of 14 teams.
Earlier that week, the golf team competed in a mini-meet at Edelweiss County Club on Monday, April 20.
The Knights placed seventh after losing a tiebreaker to Lakeside Lutheran.
Cruse shot a 44, Beutler shot a 46, Runde shot a 57, and Peter Johnson shot a 58.
This combined for a team score of 205.
