Four Pony Track Team Athletes Qualify for State

From left: Monticello Ponies Track Coach Butzler, Alyssen Noriega, Maggie Bak, Ali Risley, Hannah Clark. These four young ladies will be competing at the state track meet in La Crosse in the 4x200m relay and Alyssen will be competing in the 200m dash.
The Monticello Ponies track team competed at the WIAA D3 Regional at Darlington on May 20th. The men's team finished in 10th place while the women's team finished in 9th place.
Men's Results
In the 200M dash, Cade Femrite finished 6th.
In the 400M dash, Cade Femrite finished 6th while Sam Allard finished 13th and Lucas Heiser finished 15th.
In the 800M run, Logan Blum finished 14th while Tristin Flanagan finished 16th and Lucas Heiser finished 18th.
In the 1600M run, Rudy Wicker placed 2nd while Braylon Hoesly placed 9th and Logan Blum placed 10th.
