Enloe Selected to Play in Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Game

In February, Belleville High School senior Danny Enloe was selected to play in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) All-Star Game.

The All-Star Game is at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, July 20, 2019, in Titan Stadium at UW-Oshkosh.

With this honor comes responsibility. Since 2006, the WFCA has selected the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin as the charity that All-Star players raise funds for. During the partnership, more than $3.9 million was raised through the All-Star Charity Football Games to benefit patients in need.

"The honor of being chosen to play in this game is two-fold. First, I will play football with some of the best high school players in the state," said Enloe, who credits his family and coaches for wanting to do his best. "Secondly, and most important, I get to make a difference in the lives of other kids by raising money for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin."

Enloe hasn't visited one of the 40 Children's Hospital of Wisconsin locations yet, "but I look forward to meeting some of the kids who will join us on game day."

The head coach of the South Small All-Stars, Mark Siegert from Potosi, said that to be selected to play in the WFCA All-Star Game is an honor for young men.

Each year, there are approximately 4,500 senior football players in Wisconsin and only about 250 are selected to play in the All-Star Games. So about 5 percent have the honor of competing in this game and represent their schools and communities.

"Danny, his family, coaches, teammates, school, and community have much to be proud of," Siegert added. "We had more than 140 positions nominated to play for the South Small All-Stars and that number had to be trimmed to 46 on our active roster. Danny came highly recommended from Coach Ritter, he stood out on film and showed that he had everything it takes to play with the best players in the state. We are very excited about having him on the team."

In the fall, Enloe plans to major in Business Management at UW-Platteville, and to play on the UW-Platteville Pioneer Football Team.

"Thanks to the Forever 56 Foundation and other donors, I have raised $2,550 for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and will continue to raise money until the day of the game," added Enloe.

Kreklow Selected to Play in Division 4 Wisconsin Coaches Association All-Star Game

In March, New Glarus High School senior Jaden Kreklow was selected to play in the Division 4 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Star Game.

The All-Star Game is at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.

"I'm excited to play one last game in Wisconsin Dells, and it will be great to see the other players," said Kreklow, who credits the support from his community, and family and friends for his desire to be "an overall good person."

Executive Director of the WBCA Jerry Petitgoue added that, "Jaden Kreklow is one of the best basketball players to ever come out of southwest Wisconsin. He is one of the best players that I have seen at his position, and he makes everyone on the floor better."

One of the goals of All-Star Game is raise money for the battle against childhood cancer.

"All participants must raise funds in order to compete," said Kreklow. "All proceeds go to the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, or MACC, fund. Since the All-Star game started in 1978, the WBCA has donated more than $2.8 million to the battle against childhood cancer."

In the fall, Kreklow plans to major in Engineering at UW-Platteville.
