Lady Wildcats Shut Out Cambridge

Belleville's Bailey Legler with her hit during the Wisconsin Heights game. Legler scored a grand slam homerun earlier in the week against Cambridge.

On May 8th, the Belleville softball team hosted Waterloo for a double header of two 5 inning games that was rescheduled from April. Belleville won game one, 9-2. The Wildcats struck early and often in the 1st inning, scoring 7 runs off of two pitchers. In the bottom of the 2nd, Waterloo sent in their third pitcher, the Wildcats greeting her with two more runs.

Jillian Michaels and Bailey Legler had the two lone hits of the game and Maddie Weber was the only player that didn't score a run.

Cassidy Heller pitched the entire game, facing 17 batters, giving up 2 hits and striking out 3. No...
