The Sugar River Rapids Swim Team held their annual Heidi Invitational on Saturday, June 24, 2017, in New Glarus. Teams participating included Belleville, Bishops Bay, Mineral Point, Monroe and Platteville. The Rapids won the meet, with 909 points. Belleville placed fourth, with 175 points.

The SRR team won the Girls 6 and Under 100 SC Meter Medley Relay. The team consisted of Lucy Paradis, Evelyn Marunde, Kennedy Sysko and Nicole Burton.

In the Girls 7-8 100 SC Meter Medley Relay, the SRR team of Hadleigh Shunk, Giada Rodefeld, Kate Parman and Sylvia Wahl took first place. In second place was the SRR team of Tess Hedeman, June Endicott and Maggie Piper. Taking third place was the SRR team of Allyson Judd, Mia Skidmore, Harper Paradis and Ansley Lynch. Fourth place was SRR Team Luella Meter Brooks, Piper Faber, Lauryn Arnett and Maya Martinson. The fifth place finishers were SRR team Ava Hendrickson, Kalia Malaise, Braelynn Holz and Emma Funk. Placing seventh was the SRR team of Alivia Lamb, Holly Maynard, Kaia Morrison and Cora Lincicum.

Winning the Boys 7-8 SC Meter Medley Relay was the SRR team of Kelan Bay, Tucker Sysko, Tyse Hoesly and Kellen Martinson.

In the Girls 9-10 200 SC Meter Medley Relay, teams from the Sugar River Rapids placed first, second and third. The first place team consisted of Elizabeth Smith, Camryn Arnett, Delaney Lynch and Amalia Morrison, second place team of Alana Bay, Alaina Smith, Jadyn Elgin and Emma Hendrickson and the third place team was Brady Noll, Ella Skidmore, Hannah Broger and Addison Disch.

Winning the Boys 9-10 200 SC Meter Medley Relay was the SRR team of Jackson Umhoefer, Milo Johnson, Simon Zimmerman and Luke Burton. Placing third was Belleville's team of Caden Myers, Trey Myers, Abraham Chavez and Joe Gilinski. In fourth place was the SRR team of Coleden Thompson, Grady Johnson, Breckyn Thompson and Clem Meter Brooks.

The SRR team of Allison Gobeli, Tenley Faber, Keatan Zimmerman and Margaret Emond won the Girls 11-12 200 SC Meter Medley Relay. Placing third was the SRR team of Helen Marty, Ruth Marty, Natalie Wahl and Norah McCarthy. In fourth place was the SRR team of Whitney Disch, Annaka Boldebuck, Riley Hoesly and Abigail Gobeli. Fifth place was won by the Belleville team consisting of Taylor Bublitz, Samantha Frey, Maddie Pindilli and Lindsey Schaldawalt.

The SRR team of Brycen Teasdale, Emery Johnson and Eli Zimmerman won the Boys 11-12 200 SC Meter Medley Relay. Belleville took second place with their team of Jacob Jensen-Moyer, Carter Scholey and Jackson Scholey.

Belleville won the Girls 13-14 200 SC Meter Medley Relay with their team of Emma Erickson, Kenna Edge, Ava Foley and Gina Salmela. SRR took third place with the team of Dylan Noll, Morgan Thompson, Francesca Schiro and Annabella Tetner. In fourth place was the SRR team of Kendra Wenger, Chloe Kramer, Samantha Schiro and Ambria Matchett.

The SRR team of Holden Righter, Kaleb Bay and Mason Thompson won the Boys 13-14 200 SC Meter Medley Relay.

Kennedy Sysko, of the Sugar River Rapids, won the Girls 6 and Under 25 SC Meter Freestyle event. SRR's Nicole Burton took second place, while teammates Sophia Smith, Lucy Paradis and Brynn Lamb placed third, fourth and fifth, respectively. Placing seventh was SRR's Isabella Muggenburg and SRR's Kennedy Shunk placed eighth.

Sugar River's Kate Parman won the Girls 7-8 25 SC Meter Freestyle event. Tying for second place were Holly Maynard and Piper Faber, both members of the Sugar River Rapids. Placing sixth through ninth were SRR's Braelynn Holz, Kalia Malaise, Ansley Lynch and Luella Meter Brooks. In eleventh through fourteenth places were SRR's Sylvia Wahl, June Endicott, Hadleigh Shunk and Giada Rodefeld. Seventeenth and eighteenth places were SRR's Emma Funk and Tess Hedeman. SRR's Alivia Lamb and Ava Hendrickson placed twentieth and twenty-first. SRR's Mia Skidmore placed twenty-third. SRR's Maya Martinson and Allyson Judd placed twenty-sixth and twenty-seventh. SRR's Cora Lincicum placed twenty-ninth.

SRR's Tyse Hoesly won the Boys 7-8 25 SC Meter Freestyle event. Placing third and fourth, respectively, were SRR's Tucker Sysko and Griffin Noll. In fifth place was Belleville's Austin McKinley. SRR's Kelan Bay placed seventh, while Belleville's Evan Edge placed eighth. Placing ninth was SRR's Kellan Martinson and placing twelfth was SRR's Donovan Umhoefer.

SRR's Delaney Lynch placed second in the Girls 9-10 50 SC Meter Freestyle event. Placing third was Belleville's Addison Edge. Placing sixth was SRR's Hannah Broger. Taking ninth through eleventh places were SRR's Brady Noll, Emma Hendrickson and Camryn Arnett. Belleville's Camryn Bublitz placed twelfth. In thirteenth and fourteenth places were SRR's Alana Bay and Addison Disch. Sixteenth and seventeenth places were SRR's Amailia Morrison and Aleeya Doss. Nineteenth and twentieth places were SRR's Elizabeth Smith and Ella Skidmore.

SRR's Breckyn Thompson won the Boys 9-10 50 SC Meter Freestyle event. Placing third was SRR's Grady Johnson. Placing fourth and fifth were Belleville's Abraham Chavez and Caden Myers. In eighth and ninth places were SRR's Milo Johnson and Luke Burton. Belleville's Jackson Scholey and Nick Pindilli placed tenth and eleventh, respectively. SRR's Clem Meter Brooks placed twelfth, while Belleville's Joe Gilinski placed thirteenth. Fifteenth and sixteenth places were claimed by SRR's Jackson Umhoefer and Coleden Thompson.

SRR's Keatan Zimmerman won the Girls 11-12 50 SC Meter Freestyle event. Placing second was SRR's Annaka Boldebuck. SRR's Ruth Marty placed sixth. Placing eighth through twelfth were SRR's Amber Horn, Allison Gobeli, Helen Marty, Ruby Righter and Abigail Gobeli. Belleville's Lindsey Schaldawalt placed thirteenth while SRR's Natalie Wahl and Norah McCarthy placed fourteenth and fifteenth. Placing sixteenth and eighteenth were SRR's Margaret Emond and Whitney Disch. SRR's Tenley Faber placed twenty-first, while Belleville's Samantha Frey and Taylor Bublitz took twenty-second and twenty-third places.

SRR's Emery Johnson won the Boys 11-12 50 SC Meter Freestyle event. Placing third and fourth, respectively, were Belleville's Carter Scholey and Jacob Jensen-Moyer. SRR's Brycen Teasdale placed fifth.

SRR's Francesca Schiro won the Girls 13-14 50 SC Meter Freestyle event. Belleville's Zoe Rule and Lenora Roper placed second and third, while SRR's Samantha Schiro and Kendra Wenger placed fourth and fifth. In seventh place was Belleville's Gina Salmela, and eighth and ninth places were won by SRR's Morgan Thompson and Dylan Noll. Belleville's Emma Erickson placed tenth while SRR's Annabella Tetner placed eleventh. Placing fourteenth was Belleville's Kenna Edge.

SRR's Mason Thompson placed third in the Boys 13-14 50 SC Meter Freestyle event. Kaleb Bay and Holden Righter placed seventh and eighth, respectively.

Placing first through fourth places in the Girls 7-8 100 SC Meter IM were SRR's Harper Paradis, Maggie Piper, Holly Maynard and Lauryn Arnett. SRR's Kaia Morrison placed sixth.

Placing first in the Girls 9-10 100 SC Meter IM was SRR's Jadyn Elgin. SRR's Camryn Arnett, Alaina Smith and Brady Noll placed fourth, fifth and sixth.

SRR's Simon Zimmerman won the Boys 9-10 100 SC Meter IM event. Teammate Milo Johnson placed fourth.

In the Girls 11-12 100 SC Meter IM, SRR's Riley Hoesly placed third. SRR's Helen Marty placed fifth, Allison Gobeli placed seventh and Natalie Wahl placed tenth.

SRR's Eli Zimmerman won the Boys 11-12 100 SC Meter IM. Belleville's Carter Scholey placed third.

Belleville's Zoe Rule won the Girls 13-14 100 SC Meter IM event. SRR's Francesca Schiro placed second and Belleville's Ava Foley placed third. In fifth place was SRR's Chloe Kramer, and Belleville's Lenora Roper and Gina Salmela placed seventh and eighth. SRR's Annabella Tetner placed tenth.

Placing third in the Boys 13-14 100 SC Meter IM was SRR's Mason Thompson.

SRR's Harper Paradis won the Girls 7-8 25 SC Meter Butterfly event. Placing second through sixth places were Maggie Piper, Kate Parman, Braelynn Holz, Sylvia Wahl and Piper Faber. Belleville's Violet Swanson placed seventh, and SRR's Kalia Malaise and Ansley Lynch placed ninth and tenth.

SRR's Griffin Noll won the Boys 7-8 25 SC Meter Butterfly. Placing third was SRR's Tyse Hoesly, and Belleville's Austin McKinley took fifth place.

SRR's Jadyn Elgin won the Girls 9-10 50 SC Meter Butterfly event. SRR's Hannah Broger placed fourth in the event.

Winning the Boys 9-10 50 SC Meter Butterfly event was SRR's Simon Zimmerman. Belleville's Jackson Scholey took second place.

Placing fourth in the girls 11-12 50 SC Meter Butterfly was SRR's Abigail Gobeli.

The Boys 11-12 50 SC Meter Butterfly was won by SRR's Eli Zimmerman.

Belleville's Ava Foley won the Girls 13-14 50 SC Meter Butterfly. SRR's Samantha Schiro placed third.

In the Boys 13-14 50 SC Meter Butterfly, SRR's Mason Thompson and Holden Righter placed third and fourth, respectively.

SRR's Nicole Burton won the Girls 6 and Under 50 SC Meter Freestyle.

Winning the Girls 7-8 50 SC Meter Freestyle was SRR's Maggie Piper. SRR's Luella Meter Brooks placed fourth while Braelynn Holz took sixth place. Belleville's Violet Swanson placed seventh, while SRR's Giada Rodefeld, Tess Hedeman, Ava Hendrickson, Emma Funk, Maya Martinson and Allyson Judd took eighth through thirteenth places.

The Girls 13-14 50 SC Meter Backstroke was won by SRR's Samantha Schiro. Teammates Dylan Noll, Morgan Thompson and Kendra Wenger placed third through fifth. Belleville's Emma Erickson and Kenna Edge placed sixth and seventh.

SRR's Kaleb Bay placed fourth in the Boys 13-14 50 SC Meter Backstroke.

In the Girls 6 and Under 25 SC Meter Breaststroke, SRR's Kennedy Sysko won the event.

Belleville's Addison Edge won the Girls 9-10 50 SC Meter Breaststroke. SRR's Delaney Lynch placed second while teammate Ella Skidmore placed sixth. Placing ninth through eleventh were SRR's Emma Hendrickson, Alaina Smith and Elizabeth Smith, while Belleville's Camryn Bublitz placed twelfth. SRR's Alana Bay, Addison Disch and Amalia Morrison placed thirteenth through fifteenth.

Placing eleventh was Belleville's Taylor Bublitz, and SRR's Norah McCarthy placed fifteenth with teammate Whitney Disch placing eighteenth.
