Monroe Martial Arts Competes at The Fall Tournament of Champions

From left to right: Wyatt Emmerton, who placed first in Forms, second in Sparring and third in Board Breaking; Beth Hunt, who placed first in Forms and third in Sparring; Gabriela Golubov, who placed first in Forms and third in Sparring in Black Belt Competition; Master Greg Bowles; and Carrie Quinn, who placed first in all three of her events, Forms, Sparring and Board Breaking. All of the students were competing at The Fall Tournament of Champions in Brookfield.
The J.K. Lee Black Belt Academy hosted the tournament on November 5th, in Brookfield, WI.
The students from Monroe Martial Arts were winners again. Sadie Conway, Monroe, and Gabriela Golubov, 13, Monroe, competed in the Black Belt competition. Sadie placed 2nd in Sparring and 3rd in Board Breaking; Gabbi placed 1st in Forms and 3rd in Sparring.
In the Colored Belt ranks, Carrie Quinn, 12, Monticello, placed 1st in all three events - Forms, Sparring, and Board Breaking; Beth Hunt, 15, Mount Horeb, placed 1st in Forms and 3rd in Sparring; Wyatt Emmerton, 14, New Glarus, placed 1st in Forms, 2nd in Sparring, 3rd in Board Breaking.
