The 12U Bombers went 2-0-1 in pool play and then 4-0 in bracket play to claim the championship. The Bombers offense scored an impressive 75 runs, and the combination of good defense and fantastic pitching allowed only 33 runs!

The Bombers started pool play with a 19-4 win against the Reedsburg Rays. Their second game was a defensive battle with the Palatine Stingrays that ended in a 2-2 tie. With the Bombers down 2-1 in the final inning, Reese Montgomery had an outfield assist to gun down a runner at home to keep the score 2-1! This proved to be a huge out because the Bombers got a lead-off double from Rayna Vogel who then scored the tying run. The final pool play game was against the Queen of Diamonds, in which the Bombers won 8-5.

Bracket play started out with a couple rematches against the Reedsburg Rays and Palatine Stingrays. The Bombers won 12-0 and 7-2 to move to the semifinals against the #1 seeded Elkhorn Express. The Bomber bats came out hot, scoring 11 runs in the first three innings. However, Elkhorn never gave up and tied the game at 11 in the final inning to force extras. The Bombers put up three runs and held on to win 14-13 to advance to the championship against Rapids Fastpitch.

In the championship, the offense came out hot again putting up six runs in the top of the 1st. After 4 innings Rapids closed the gap trailing 7-5, but the Bombers offense outscored them 6-2 in the final 2 innings to win the championship 13-7!
