Two Ponies Advance to State Track Meet in La Crosse

"Monticello had a successful evening at Regionals," said Kim Becker. "Our athletes were ready to compete."
The following athletes moved on to the Sectional Meet on Thursday: Evan Guenther - 400, 800, and 1600, Hannah Clark - 200 and 400, Wade Noriega - Discus, Ian Schwartzlow - 3200, Natalie Wahl - Discus.
After all was said and done at the Sectional Meet, two Ponies athletes qualified to advance to the State Meet in La Crosse on June 3 and 4. Evan Guenther will be competing in the 400M, 800M and 1600M events, while Hannah Clark will be competing in the 400M.
