Dain Walter goes up for a shot in the Knights' 74-31 win over Poynette.
On November 30th, the New Glarus boys basketball team played at Darlington. New Glarus led by just 1 point at the half, but stepped up on offense in the second half and won the game 62-56.
With 23 points, Dain Walter led New Glarus in scoring, he also had 1 assist and 2 blocks. A.C. Strok scored 19 points and had 1 assist and 2 steals. Jack Parman scored 8 points, had 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.
On December 2nd, the Glarner Knights hosted the Poynette Pumas. Leading at the half 33-19, the Knights handily won the game, 74-51.
A.C. Strok led the Knights with 22 points, while Dain Walter scored 19 points, Carter Siegenthaler had three 3-point shots to contribute to his 11 points, and Jack Parman put 8 points on the board.
On December 4th, the Knights attended the Lena-Winslow Jamobree and played Scales Mound. The final score was New Glarus 51, Scales Mound 64 (a halftime score was not available).
Dain Walter scored 14 points to lead New Glarus in scoring, and had 1 steal and 2 blocks, while A.C. Strok scored 11 points and had 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block, Carter Siegenthaler scored 10 points and had 2 assists and 1 steal and Jack Parman put 10 points on the board and had 2 assists.
On December 6th, the Knights played at Dodgeville. They will host Lodi on December 10th and Platteville on December 14th.
