BETH CAMPBELL

January 26, 2023

Beth Campbell

Beth Campbell lived her life to the fullest until her battle with cancer ended on January 17, 2023. She was born on January 5, 1949, to Rufus and Patricia (Gerber) Legler of Belleville, WI.

She graduated from Belleville High School and Madison Area Technical College. She was a member of the Paoli Zwingli United Church of Christ, the Dane and Green County Home and Community Education and was very active in many, many community events. She spent her career working for the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and for the Wisconsin Division of Corrections.

She was proceeded in death by her brothers, Bruce and Greg, both who she missed terribly; her grandson, Matthew, who she met briefly when he was stillborn; and her parents.

She leaves behind her husband, Charlie Campbell, who she married on 4/19/75; and her three children, Sara (Dave) Kuehl of Milwaukee, Katie (Mike) O'Dair and Jeffrey (Mychal) Campbell; along with her grandsons, Noah and Ethan, all of Belleville. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her and she was so proud to be their mom and grandmother. She is further survived by her siblings, Brian Legler, Terri Fiez and Joan Hoppenjan. She is also survived by a special cousin, Connie Urfer; and many special nieces and nephews, including Keith and Amy Legler, who she thought of as her own; and more special friends than one could ever ask for.

She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, all types of crafts, cooking, baking, entering pie contests/fairs and quilting and sewing. She especially enjoyed music and helping people and children of all ages. She always believed that she was put on this earth to be a "Mom".

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. You were all very caring and supportive to mom and the entire family. A special thank you to Megan and Lindsey, who have been with us caring for mom, while she was still able to be at home.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, January 27, 2023, at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville. Burial will be in the Belleville Cemetery.

One of Beth's favorite things were potluck gatherings, so she hopes you will join her family and friends for a potluck after the funeral and graveside services at the Montrose Town Hall, 1341 Diane Avenue, Belleville, WI, giving everyone time to share some memories and some laughs.

An online memorial with guestbook is available at http://www.bealfuneralhomes.com.
