Dennis "Scott" Siewert, age 63 of Belleville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at his home. He was born July 6, 1959, in Madison, WI, the son of Donald and Phyllis (Akkerman) Siewert.

Scott graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, and Mid-State Technical College. He used his degree to pursue a career as an environmental, mechanical and electrical engineer, as well as water remediation, and specialized in controls and instrumentation.

Scott is survived by his beloved partner, Christina Cooley; his sons, Jordan (Michelle) and Evan Siewert; granddaughter, Arcadia; Jayna, Adam and Maria Cooley (and children). He is further survived by siblings, Sue (Jim) Oleson, Dane Siewert, Dawn (Donald) Mengason, Dwight "Rock" (Julie) Siewert, and Dale (Lou) Siewert; nieces and nephews who all loved him very dearly; along with extended family and friends.

Scott had a hilarious sense of humor, and a great wealth of knowledge he enjoyed passing along to anyone who would listen. He had many passions in life, including music, his dogs, watching the Packers and Badgers football games, along with having a good laugh with friends and family.

A few of his favorite memories were spending a great week adventuring all over the Lake of the Ozarks with Chris and some close friends, playing basketball in the pool, playing fetch with all of his dogs in the backyard, and laughing during game nights with the kids.

Scott will be missed greatly and his impact will last forever in all of his loved ones he leaves behind.
