Raiders Win First Two Games of the Season

The Raiders won their first game of the season against Dodgeville/Mineral Point on Tuesday, August 23, with a score of 8-0. It was a warm start to the season with it being 80 degrees at the start of the game. We came out ready to play - scoring a total of eight goals in the game. Racking up goals for the Raiders were Jack Leonard, Kiehmi Tazeh, and Tikeh Tazeh with one goal each, and Aiden Hatleberg with five goals. Getting assists were Tikeh Tazeh (2), Brady Mousseau, Nathan Hendrickson (2), Jack Douma, and Jack Leonard (2).

Our defense was powerful and allowed no goals with Clayton Streiff having seven saves.
On Thursday, August 25, the Raiders kept their thunder rolling with a 2-1 win over the Evansville Blue Devils at their home opener. Headers were the key to scoring for the Raiders, as Jack Douma and Breckyn Thompson scored one each, with Aiden Hatleberg assisting both goals. The Blue Devils went on to score in the 43rd minute, but the Raiders' defensive line continued to hold strong.
Goal Keeper Clayton Streiff would have two saves to keep any further goals from being scored.
The Raiders will begin their conference play by traveling to play Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld on Thursday, September 1st.
