Belleville Girls Basketball Falls to New Glarus in Conference Home Opener

The team rallied back to bring home a victory over Cambridge

Belleville's Jenna Shrader takes a shot during the game against New Glarus on January 14th. Shrader ended the game with 7 points.

On Tuesday, January 14th, the Belleville girls basketball team opened their home conference play in a disappointing loss to the New Glarus Knights. The Wildcats struggled with their shooting game right out of the locker room and the Knights were able to overcome the Wildcats with a final score of 70-43.

Belleville's sophomore Callie Smith dominated the Wildcat scoreboard on this night and took home her season high of 20 points. Jenna Shrader and Ava Foley each contributed 7 points respectively to the Wildcats scoreboard.

Coach Pharo added that some nights the ball is just not going to go...
