The Village of New Glarus is seeking qualified residents to serve in the capacity of Village Trustee for the Village Board of Trustees. There are currently two (2) vacancies. One (1) vacancy is a one (1) year term, expiring 4/2020 and the other is for a two (2) year term, expiring 4/2021. The Village Board meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month. Trustees would be involved in Committee/Commission work as well that could include 1-2 additional monthly meetings.
Applicants must be residents of the Village, at least 18 years of age, and eligible to hold public office in accordance with state and local laws. Applications will be reviewed by the Village Board and interviews may be scheduled.
