The New Glarus Girls Basketball Team came back to win 54-41 over the Monticello Ponies after being down by 26-18 at halftime.
On November 20th, the New Glarus girls basketball team played at Columbus. Despite 26 team fouls, they came away with their first victory of the season; after a 15-point lead at halftime, the final score was New Glarus 59, Columbus 42.
Leading the team in scoring was Jaylynn Benson with 21 points, which included 9/10 from the free throw line. Benson also had 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Lily Himmelmann scored 13 points and had 7 rebounds, freshman Emma Marty chipped in 7 points and Emily Streiff had 6 points with 6 rebounds.
