Members of the Green County 4-H Foods & Nutrition project recently participated in the annual Foods Revue event on Saturday, April 14, at the Green County Justice Center. Foods Revue is considered a Pre-Fair event of the Green County Fair, and is judged by a licensed fair judge with ribbons being awarded to the youth.
Youth are divided into four levels based on grade and can bring one food item and one educational exhibit to be judged at the Foods Revue. Examples of project options this year were breakfast muffins, invent a snack, stir fry, and a main dish salad.
This year's participants were Madilyn Arnold (Spring Grove Honest Workers), Mara Dickson (Browntown Busy Beavers), Skye Dickson (Browntown Busy Beavers), Emily Goers (Washington Center), Aleczander Johnson (Next Generation), Leilah King (Next Generation), Timothy Leslein (Next Generation), Alexis Moen (Browntown Busy Beavers), Alexander Murray (Next Generation), and Molly Olson (Washington Center).
