The New Glarus Area EMS would like to thank the New Glarus Community Foundation for the grant they received for the warming devices. Both ambulances are now equipped with a blanket warmer and IV fluid warmer. These devices assist with keeping patients warm, which helps reduce shock symptoms and improve patient outcomes. Both devices have been utilized on calls already.
