The Monticello Area Historical Society (MAHS) will meet at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Zwingli UCC, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello.

Following a short business meeting, Pat Weeden, the Executive Director of the Kelch Aviation Museum at Brodhead Airport, where construction is nearly complete on Phase III of a new museum campus, will present the program: Celebrating the “Golden Age of Aviation.” The museum features 15 vintage aircraft from the late 1920s and early 30s, along with vintage cars and aviation artifacts, all in a modern and family friendly atmosphere. Pat will bring photos and videos, along with a history of the museum and plans for the future.

This is a free presentation and will start about 7:15 p.m. Come join us, the public is welcome to attend both activities.
