Robert F. Mussehl, age 79, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. in Fitchburg. He was born on March 9, 1938, in Platteville, the son of Stanley and Helen (Dickson) Mussehl.

Bob attended St. Mary's School and Mineral Point High School until entering the United States Air Force. During his time in the Air Force, Bob was stationed in Korea, Japan, and Texas. While stationed in Texas he was united in marriage to Willie Mae Webel on August 29, 1957. Bob worked for AT&T for thirty-five years as a telephone repairman. He enjoyed woodworking, travels to Wyoming, volunteering with the forest service, the cabin "Up North," and deer hunting. Bob was also a history buff and liked to participate in Civil War and Indian War reenactments.

Robert is survived by his wife, Willie Mae; daughters, Sandra (Roland) Skrede and Cynthia (Thomas) Picone; grandchildren, Zachary (Kristen) Skrede, Kelsey (Timothy) Skrede-Schaaf, Sam (Jade) Jones, Taylor Jones, Brittany Mussehl, and Megan (Devon) Mussehl; great-grandchildren, Justin, Adelyn, Willa, Layton, April, Mitchell, Kenadi, and Jace.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott; brother, Don; and a sister, Mary Jo McDermott.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, November 3, 2017, at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI, with the Rev. Michael Moon officiating. Military honors will be accorded.

A gathering of relatives and friends will precede the memorial service from 12:00 noon until time of service at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home.
