Jon Mark Weber of Oak Creek, WI, passed away on September 25, 2017, at the age of 68. He was born in Viroqua on March 19, 1949, and has lived in De Soto, WI, La Crosse, WI, Minneapolis, MN, and New Glarus, WI.

Jon graduated from UW-La Crosse in 1973, with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Prior to retiring, Jon worked as a Computer Analyst in the insurance industry in the Twin City area. Jon loved flying and obtained a small aircraft pilot license. His family spent many summer vacations at the EAA in Oshkosh, WI. Jon also loved woodworking, gardening and socializing. He delighted in his granddaughters, especially if play was involved. He was very blessed to spend the last year of his life doing the things he loved the best. The bedrock of his life was his faith in his Lord and savior, Jesus. He was always willing to lend a hand to those who needed help and encouragement.

Jon is survived by wife, Patricia (nee McCarty); children, Sarah Guptill (Ben), Mark Weber (Missy), Karene Marchan (Carlos); granddaughters, Lena Guptill, Ellie Guptill, and Allura Weber; brother, Howard Weber (Marina); and sister, Christine (“Tina”) Weber.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Weber; and mother, Audrey Weber (nee Holter).

The visitation for Jon will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017, from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m., at Grace Church, 416 Second Street, New Glarus, WI 53574.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 375 Bishops Way, Brookfield, WI 53005 are appreciated.
