The small community garden has been on the corner of 5th Avenue and Railroad Street in New Glarus for some 10-15 years. After visiting with Mike and Teresa Colney, Norma Bader learned that they started these plantings for a special New Glarus event long ago. Brenda Siegenthaler donated flowering plants a few years ago for Norma to plant. Then the big, old Ash Tree spread its canopy and its roots, making a shaded garden for perennials only!
