Springdale Car Show Supports K9s For Warriors

August 17, 2017

The 7th Annual Springdale Car Show will be held on Saturday, August 26th, at 2752 Town Hall Road in Mount Horeb. This year's proceeds will support K9s For Warriors. Last year, $1,500 was raised for Badger Honor Flight.

K9s for Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to our warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma as a result of military service post 9/11. Their goal is to empower these veterans to return to civilian life with dignity and independence. Each dog is carefully selected and trained to be a service dog for an American hero. Each veteran is closely involved in the training of their service dog, helping them to be a solution to their recovery. All these services are provided at no cost to the veteran. To learn more about this organization, please visit http://www.k9sforwarriors.org.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and is $10.00 per vehicle.  Spectator admission is free, but you can honor our veterans with your cash donations at the entrance.  The show is open to all classes of cars, motorcycles and tractors. Exhibitors will receive a dash plaque (while they last) and will automatically be entered into drawings for door prizes throughout the day.  Free coffee and pastries will also be available to our exhibitors in the morning.  The show itself runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Categories for judging will be:  Pre War, Stock, Custom, Motorcycles and Tractors.  Two awards will be presented in each category.  All registered vehicles are eligible to win one of three other awards:  Pastor's Choice, People's Choice and Best in Show.  Awards presentation will be at the close of the show. Music, food and drink will be available throughout the day.  This is a family friendly event.
