Due to Remy Road being the detour route for Hwy 69, it cannot be closed for the fireworks show this year. Luckily, Ted Fahey has offered up his field, which is the field right on the corner of State Road 92 and Remy Road. The fireworks will be held at dusk on Friday night, August 11, 2017.

Come to the beautiful village of Belleville August 10th through the 13th to enjoy their Community Picnic! This event raises funds for the Belleville Community Club and its various community improvement projects and high school scholarships.

There will be games for all ages, Bingo, fireworks on Friday night at dusk, kickball and live music all weekend and refreshments every day and night.

The Belleville Fun Run will take place on Saturday, August 12th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Registration and mass start is from Belleville Sugar River Park, at the corner of State Road 92 and Remy Road.

The Bike Race will begin at 9:30 a.m., from Sugar River Park. All participants must wear helmets, no exceptions. The use of aero bars is prohibited, as they are not safe in pack riding.

The Amateur BBQ Rib Contest also takes place on Saturday, which is limited to the first 24 entries. The $25.00 entry fee includes one rack of ribs, a t-shirt for the Head Chef and a great time! If you have any questions, please contact Scott Hare at (608) 843-6301.

Entry forms for the Bike Race, Fun Run and BBQ Rib Contest are available in the Buyer's Guide, and on page 2 of this paper.

The 15th Annual Belleville Car Show will take place on Sunday, August 13th, from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., at Library Park. There is a $10.00 entry fee for cars, and the first 100 entries get one free lunch. There will be door prizes, a live DJ and a lunch stand. People's Choice trophies will be awarded at 3:00 p.m. and you must be present to win. One hundred percent of the net proceeds benefit the Belleville Community Club. If you have any questions, please call Greg Hubbard at (608) 778-6863.
