Area Children Invited To Join New Glarus Kinderchor

Kinderchor rehearsals begin on Monday, June 5th, at 6:30 p.m., at the New Glarus Home Campus. We meet outside under the shelter near the Multi-Purpose Room and Chapel. Enrollment fee is $15.00 per member. Children ages 5 and up are welcome to participate. Sign up at rehearsal.
New Glarus Kinderchor participates in the local festivals, including the Heidi Festival, Volksfest, and Wilhelm Tell Festival. Practices are a chance for kids to learn not only songs in English and Swiss German, but also basic singing and performance skills and to enjoy snacks and play games related to the week’s lesson. Mini performances will take place at Tofflers again this year.

The New Glarus Kinderchor was organized in 1998 and continues to be a strong element of the Swiss traditions of New Glarus.
