DAR Good Citizenship Awards

The Colonel Benjamin Harrison Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met Tuesday, April 11th, at Pizza Hut in Monroe to celebrate the Good Citizen students.
The DAR Good Citizen program encourages and rewards the qualities of citizenship among high school seniors, including dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. Caroline Rindy from Blanchardville won the essay contest for our local chapter. In the picture are Sayde McDermott from Albany High School; Christie Strait, local Good Citizen chairperson; Collin Argue from Argyle High School; and Barbara Nemec, Chapter Regent.
Students unable to attend the luncheon were Caroline Rindy, Pecatonica High School; Elizabeth Holland, Blackhawk High School; Anthony Zilliox, Cuba City High School; Jack Speckman, Brodhead High School; Aurora Daniels, Juda High School; Christian Amett, New Glarus High School; Samuel Nicholson, Monroe High School; and Jacob Paquette, Shullsburg High School.
