Quilts of Valor Presented at Winterfest

On Saturday evening the Annual Winterfest R&R Reunion dinner was held at the New Glarus Hotel. As part of the program the Sugar River Quilters presented Quilts of Valor to 24 Veterans (another three could not be there). Following the program was a dance, with music by Badge.
The Sugar River Quilters presented Quilts of Valor to Veterans on Saturday, January 14, 2017, as part of the annual Winterfest Veterans Rally. Two of the recipients were not present. They had to leave to get home to Nebraska before the Ice Storm hit there. One other recipient could not attend the dinner due to health issues.
