The Friends of the Chalet of the Golden Fleece are pleased to announce a grant award from the New Glarus Community Foundation, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. The grant will allow for continued restoration work on the Chalet. Last year’s grant provided some interior window restoration and the replacement of the logs for the roof. This year’s grant will provide the funding needed to replace the eaves troughs and downspouts. Because the Chalet is on the historical register, the replacements will need to be replicas of the current gutters.
