It’s that time of year again, students prepare to head back to school, and Monticello is gearing up for our annual Village Wide Fall Garage Sales! You can register your garage sale at the Village Hall before Noon on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, for only $5.00 to get on the map. We will have categorized maps made available after September 7, 2016, at local businesses, online at http://www.monticello-wi.com, and Facebook (Monticello Chamber of Commerce).

“Taste of Monticello” will be on Saturday, September 10, 2016, and is growing this year! In addition to food and drink specials offered at our local establishments, we have joined our Chili Cook-off in with the fun. Plus the annual Parkinson Ride will also be held on Saturday at the Eagle Pass Saloon and 4-H will have something sweet for everyone at their bake sale, available at the shelter house located at the Montesian Park. As always, we will have a truck available to receive donations on Saturday as the garage sales come to an end.
