Erik Richard Wainwright, age 32, began his angel journey on Saturday, April 16, 2016, in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. He was born January 23, 1984, to Michael and JoAnn Wainwright, and grew up in New Glarus, Wisconsin.

In 2006, he moved to Seattle, Washington, making friends with everyone he met. As one co-worker said, "He was one of the most charismatic people I have ever known and ALWAYS greeted you with a huge mid-westerner smile, like you were family."

He is survived by parents, Michael (Sue Cronin) Wainwright, Monticello, and JoAnn Wainwright, New Glarus; brother, Rory Wainwright, Milwaukee, WI; grandmother, Lois Wainwright, New Glarus; nephew, Braiden Wainwright, Fort Atkinson, WI; uncles, Mark (Sue) Wainwright, Matt Wainwright, Mitch (Ellie) Wainwright; and aunt, Carrie (Kevin) Kleppe; several cousins; and a good friend, Tawni Dillion, Everett, Washington.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

The family will donate all memorial contributions to TheAddictsMom (TAM), c/o of Barbara Theodosiou, and the Washington state chapter of TheAddictsMom (TAM).
