The Colonel Benjamin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met Tuesday, April 12th, at Pizza Hut in Monroe to celebrate the Good Citizen students.
The DAR Good Citizen program encourages and rewards the highest qualities of good citizenship among high school seniors: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
Jacquelyn Mosely, from Darlington High School, won the essay contest for the local chapter and placed third in the state contest. She read her essay to the group.
