"Mysteries of the Driftless" Documentary

Join us for a free film at Belleville Public Library on Wednesday, February 17, at 6:30 p.m.

Mysteries of the Driftless is documentary that explores our area’s unique pre-Ice Age landforms, wildlife species, and Native American effigy mounds that survived the glacial scouring that scraped away at surrounding areas. The film follows a team of explorers and scientists as they kayak down deeply-cut valleys and climb rocky bluffs to expose the science and threats particular to this “island of land,” and to inspire viewers to discover more.

Presented by Wade Moder of the Upper Sugar River Watershed Association (USRWA).  Wade will also be giving an update about USRWA projects in the area.
