At the November 3rd New Glarus Village Board meeting, Mike Peters from Wisconsin Public Power Inc. gave a presentation called “The Power of Many.” The presentation was basically an overview of WPPI and the services it provides to local utilities and communities. Following his presentation, the board approved a resolution congratulating the WPPI Energy on its 35 years of service.

The board approved the annual contract with the New Glarus Area EMS. The contract fee for 2016 is $18.78 per person, for a total of cost of $40,658.70 as compared to $18.41 per person in 2015.
