Dance Wisconsin Presents Beyond Ballet

Dance Wisconsin will present its fall concert Beyond Ballet including the ballets"Paquita" and "Grande Tarantella"on Saturday, October 10th, at 7:30 p.m. at the Mitby Theater, Madison College. A collection of new works by local choreographers will also be presented.

This performance is the first in the season for the Dance Wisconsin Company, followed by The Nutcracker at Shannon Hall at UW-Madison on December 19-20, and then a new Alice in Wonderland at The Mitby Theater at Madison College on April 16-17.
Local dancers from New Glarus and Monticello are Emily Ginocchio, daughter of David and Martha, and Jessica Schmitt, daughter of Peter and Julie. Emily is a member of Dance Wisconsin and will be performing in the ballet "Paquita"and several of the new works. Jessica will be performing in the ballet "Grande Tarantella".
