Architectural Survey of New Glarus Results Revealed
For the past six months, Carol Cartwright, an experienced Historic Resource Consultant, has been conducting a survey of the buildings within the village. Her findings will be revealed at a public hearing in the Village Hall Boardroom on August 17 at 6:30 p.m. Joe DeRose, Survey and Registration Historian at the Wisconsin Historical Society, will also be present to explain what benefits the results have for the homeowners. The survey was made possible through a federal grant provided through the Division of Historic Preservation-Public History and was coordinated through the New Glarus Historical Preservation Commission. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this hearing.
