Owen Offered Village Administrator Job in Mt. Horeb

On Monday, May 18, Mount Horeb Village Board voted to offer the Village Administrator job to Nic Owen, currently the New Glarus Village Administrator.

The former Mount Horeb Administrator, Dave Ross, resigned after taking a job as the Rock Island County administrator.

Owen has been Village Administrator in New Glarus since September 2006.

Reached early Tuesday morning, Owen said that he had not yet formally accepted the position. He added that even after accepting, he would be giving a 30-day notice to the village.
