The New Glarus Library Board is pleased to announce the hiring of a new Director for the New Glarus Public Library. Stop by the library and welcome Holly Lague, who will be starting the position the week of February 4th.

The Library Board and staff are excited to have Holly on staff and look forward to working with her and hearing about her visions for the library.

Holly (Erickson) Lague was born and raised in New Glarus, and lived for several years on the East Coast, where she earned her library Master's Degree. She has gained invaluable experience working in different types of libraries as well as the corporate setting, and will apply this knowledge to enhance services and programming in New Glarus.

"I'm thrilled and grateful to be serving our town in this position, and not just because of the short commute," she says. "New Glarus is truly special, and the library is lucky to have a dedicated team committed to offering excellent programs, resources and services. I'm excited to join them in exploring opportunities to deliver value and innovation in ways that honor our town's unique character."
