The New Glarus golf team played an 18-hole regional meet in Mineral Point at Dodge Point Country Club on May 22nd.  The team shot a 351 to advance to sectionals. 

Matt Hach led the team with a 78, Cole Runde 90, Ty Ready 91, and Jacob Krantz 92.  Jared Martinson shot 100. 

The team played the sectional meet at Edelweiss Country Club on Wednesday, May 30th and are in the top 4 according to season averages and regionals results. 

"I believe we can advance to state if everyone plays within their individual capabilities.  We have stressed to the players that at this point in the season, everyone knows what they are able to do," said Coach Jon Goodness.  "It is all about going out there on Wednesday, playing our game, not forcing shots and remembering to enjoy the moment and have fun."
