Laurel C. Steele, age 77 of Belleville, WI, died on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born December 2, 1939, to Edgar and Alvena (Knudtson) Moen.

Laurel was united in marriage to Wallace E. Steele on November 22, 1958, at Perry Lutheran Church in Daleyville, WI. She was a member of Perry Lutheran Church in Daleyville, WI.

Survivors include her husband, Wally; her daughter, Debra (LaVerne) Wealti of Belleville; grandchildren, Travis, Ryan (Tiffani Owen), and Alex; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her twin brother, LaVerne; and twins, Steven and Sandra.

A memorial service was held at 11:30 a.m., on Friday, July 21, 2017, at Ellestad Camacho Funeral Home, 500 N. 8th Street, Mount Horeb, WI, with Rev. John Twiton officiating.  Inurnment will be at a later date.  A gathering with family and friends was from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m., on Friday at the Ellestad Camacho Funeral Home, 500 N. 8th Street, Mount Horeb, WI.
